Meghan McCarthy is a sole member attorney who concentrates her legal practice in the areas of Elder Law, Wills, Trusts and Estates, Guardianships, Asset Protection, and Real Estate. Meghan graduated law school in the top 6% of her class knowing that she would pursue a legal career where she would have high client contact. Having earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in psychology, she is motivated by when assisting others through challenging
times with compassion and understanding.
Not only does Meghan view herself as an attorney, but also as an educator. Her goal is to educate people on the reality of long term care, its high costs and limited payment options. She hopes to inform people early enough in their lifetimes so that should long-term care become a necessity later in life, they are properly prepared.
Meghan is a certified mediator and a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Elder Law, Trusts and Estates sections.
Most recently, Meghan became a faculty member at Dutchess Community College where she teaches Business Law and Paralegal studies.
